Retro Rev Arcade

Retro Rev Arcade

So I found a little gem in Moncks Corner that the kids love. Retro Rev Arcade is a free play style Arcade located off Highway 52 just past Arby's. Nestled between Kobe's Japanese Steakhouse and The Atlantic Restaurant in a small shopping center, this place has plenty to offer.

Rev, the owner, is happy to show you around and explain some of the Japanese style games he has. My son's Adam and Link had a blast playing classics like Street Fighter 3 and Puzzle Fighter 2. Crystal and I tried our hand at a couple of Japanese rhythem games before enjoying a round on House Of The Dead 4. It's a great value for a place to let your kids have fun, or to just remember the good old days of the Arcade. Rev says he's getting more and more games in each month, the only problem is not a lot of locals know about it.

I plan to change that, because this town needs options for kids. He host gaming tournaments every few weeks on Saturday and things can only get better.  If you're in Moncks Corner and you have kids, or if you just love classic arcade games, then take an evening and visit.  Retro Rev Arcade is definitely worth the $15 entry fee, an amount easily spent in an arcade in no time.
